  • Device & Technical Data: Operating system, device model, unique app instance identifiers, IP address, and camera permissions (strictly required for barcode scanning).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed strictly for legitimate application functionalities:

  • Instant Barcode Decoding: Providing instant barcode lookup and product metadata display.
  • Smart Budgeting: Calculating estimated cart totals, savings, and GST tax brackets.
  • Bill Reconciliation: Reconciling store bills with scanned items to highlight overcharges or billing errors.
  • Reward Disbursements: Crediting ZoCoins rewards and processing direct wallet cash bonuses.
  • AI Model Enhancement: Improving our product recognition database and AI receipt parsing models.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal shopping history to third-party advertisers. We only disclose data under restricted circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Secure cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp OTP gateways, and UPI payment processors required to disburse cashback rewards.
  • Legal Compliance: When mandated by Indian regulatory authorities, court orders, or law enforcement under applicable Indian statutory laws.

  • Right to Correction: Request modification or erasure of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request permanent deletion of your account and associated transaction history directly from the app settings or by emailing our Data Protection Officer.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: Seek swift resolution for any privacy concerns.
